What are the conditions like during the Polish craftsmen's stay in Denmark?
We have the following requirements for the places where the craftsmen stay in Denmark:
- The craftsmen must have access to their own toilet and shower facilities.
- The craftsmen must have access to kitchen facilities that make it possible to prepare a light meal.
The craftsmen are often accommodated in apartments, summer houses, hostels or similar.
What are the craftsmen's working hours ?
The craftsmen typically work from Monday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed. Work is their sole purpose for their stay in Denmark. They therefore share your interest in completing the project as quickly as possible, so that they can return home to their families until the next assignment arises. Therefore, you will experience competitive flexibility from Go1workers’s craftsmen. However, rules for rest periods are of course adhered to.
What is the professional background of the craftsmen ?
All Go1workers craftsmen are trained craftsmen. In Poland, craftsmen are trained through a three-year practical training. An extended craftsman training is also offered, which takes a total of five years to complete.
Students in Polish craftsman education programs develop skills in 15 disciplines set by the Polish Ministry of Education. Polish craftsmen are therefore trained in several different skills, whereas in Denmark they are trained in one genre of the craftsman profession ( bricklaying , carpentry , painting , etc.).
The way in which Polish craftsman training is structured is due in particular to the weather conditions in Poland. Due to the cold winters, certain outdoor tasks are not possible to practice during the winter months. Therefore, it is necessary for Polish craftsmen to be able to perform different types of crafts.
What is the advantage of using Polish craftsmen?
The Polish tradesman training enables the tradesmen to carry out projects from scratch. They rarely have to coordinate with other tradesmen outside their own team (unless authorized work is required). This makes Go1workers’s tradesman teams a flexible, efficient and, not least, inexpensive solution.
Furthermore, it is our experience that our craftsmen deliver the same high quality as Danish craftsmen. Judge for yourself based on our previous construction projects .
What is the disadvantage of using Polish craftsmen?
In Denmark, craftsmen specialize in individual trades. Therefore, a Danish bricklayer will, for example, be faster than a Polish bricklayer to brick a wall. However, Go1workers’s Polish bricklayer teams are still a cheaper solution in the long run, as the hourly rate is cheaper, the team works flexibly and the craftsmen can handle entire projects without having to coordinate with external craftsmen.
Do the craftsmen speak English ?
There will always be one craftsman on your Go1workers craftsman team with whom you can communicate in either English or German. Should communication challenges arise, you can always contact the person responsible for your project. It is also always possible to arrange an extra meeting if you find this necessary.
How is a Go1workers craftsman team put together ?
Our teams of craftsmen often consist of 2-4 craftsmen. The team is composed in such a way that there is always a responsible person who can communicate with you in German or English, depending on your preference. The responsible person will always be a craftsman with many years of experience within the project we are going to solve for you.
What type of task are WORKRO's craftsmen best suited to?
Our services are offered to both private and commercial clients. We are particularly interested in renovation and facade projects for houses and smaller commercial buildings. This is where our many skills can be put to use, and our flexible approach is often needed.
If you need to have the same task carried out on a large number of square meters, we recommend that you obtain quotes from Danish specialized craftsmen. They will be able to execute such a task faster, due to the way the craftsman training is structured in Poland and Denmark, respectively.
In Denmark, you specialize in one branch of the craftsman profession. In Poland, you are trained in 15 disciplines, so that you can handle several different types of tasks. In both countries, it takes between three and five years to train as a craftsman.
How much does it cost to collaborate with Go1workers?
We have a fixed low hourly rate of DKK 195 per craftsman.
What guarantees can you give?
Our contracts always state that you as a customer have a five-year warranty on the work we provide. In addition, we of course have all statutory insurances.
How should I prepare for the project?
Our collaboration always starts with a meeting between us and you. We are happy to hold the meeting physically, if possible, but alternatively this can be done online. Here we will talk through the task, schedule and agreement. We will help you prepare a materials list, after which you will be responsible for purchasing materials yourself. If there is anything else you need to prepare, this will be agreed upon at the meeting.
Do I have to purchase materials myself ?
As a customer, you are responsible for purchasing materials yourself. We will help you prepare a materials list that you can use when ordering your materials for your home.
Is it possible to order cheaper materials from Poland?
How Go1workers does not offer to order materials from Poland. Our experience is that the quality of building materials is much higher in Denmark. Out of respect for our craftsmanship, we therefore prefer to work with Danish materials.
Who is responsible for the paperwork for building permits and the like?
You do that as a customer.
Can I change my mind about the construction process during the process?
One of the biggest advantages of using Go1workers’s Polish craftsmen is the flexibility we provide. If you find out along the way that you want the result to be different than what you initially intended, it is usually possible for us to adapt the construction process accordingly.
Our craftsmen are also always happy to provide their feedback if they see opportunities along the way that they think could benefit you.
How quickly can you start the task?
We usually start the task within a month after you contact us.
How long does it take for the craftsmen to complete a task?
It depends on the scope and complexity of the task, so it is not possible to give an estimate.
How long has Go1workers been around ?
Go1workers has been around since 2008, when we started in Poland. In 2018, we started offering our services in Denmark and other countries.
